It would be unlikely. With my first I had a X Ray at 8 weeks coz I didnt know I was pregnant (never missed any periods!) and she turned out fine....though I worried all the way thru after I found out I was pregnant.

Anything you take in, the baby will get to. There are certain antibiotics that could affect a baby at that early of a stage. You really need to consult with your doctor (if this is what happened) let them know what you actually took and they may go ahead and do an ultrasound on you to see if the baby is fine.
When you go to a doctor though they will run a blood test. Those are correct. A HPT test may come out incorrect due to stress level and other factors but a blood test would tell you if you were or not.

Yes. Most types of antibiotics are not safe during pregnancy. There are a few, however, that are considered safe. If you think you are pregnant and it may just not show up on a pregnancy test yet, tell the doctor and ask for a safe variety of antibiotics just in case.

No, you should stop taking them but the little you took beforehand would be ok.

I was drinking in MX for 5 days. Then got sick when we got back and took antibiotics. Then found out I was 6 weeks along. The dr. said since it was so early, it was ok.

My daughter is a smart healthy 5 year old.

Good luck to you!
