i didn't claim or ask if david chappelle was better than pryor or even his equal just if he was the modern equivallent - not something i would ever of asked of eddie murphey

"I Know Black People" and "Negrodamus" are hilarious bits, as no one is spared from his barbs.
His Rick James tales are without peer and the "Keepin' It Real" segements shine a true light on all races
I prefer to think of Dave and Dave, but certainly comes from the rich tradition of Pryor

no one will EVER touch pryor..he will forever be the KING...ask any comedian or listen to interviews...they ALL even the great george carlin, give homage to PRYOR...

I dunno if he's a Richard Pryor. I think he's much FUNNIER in my opinion!
