Guppies will breed in 2 to 3 months. If you have any doubts just keep an eye out for the males to start their dance in front of the females. They are relentless in their pursuit. I usually isolate the pregnant females to an in tank nursery shortly before they give birth so that the males can't pester them too much & stress them before the fry arrive.
If you watch carefully when the fry are being born you will see that the fry are actually folded in half when they exit the female. Pretty kewl to watch if you've never seen it before.

Guppies only live for 1-2 years, males can reproduce at about 2 months, females about 3.
