Doing an chart on linear equation, just need to get started Thanks, please show work. forgot how to do.

add 2 to each side

2-2 +7y = 4 +2

do the math

7y = 6

divide each side by 7
7y/7 =6/7

y= 6/7 or .085714

you have to put the two on the otherrside of the equal sign

7y=2+4 then divide by 7 y=6/7 hope that helps some.
