My husband has been receiving tons of anonymous calls on his mobile. Sometimes it'll ring a couple of times then stop. Others he will answer to hear a woman with a foreign accent saying 'hello'; when he responds, she doesn't appear to hear. She has left a voicemail saying something like 'why are you not talking/why are you calling me', but it's quite difficult to hear. We've looked online and found the number to be an Islamabad mobile; we have no connection at all to this place. Has anyone got any advice/experience on this, as the calls go on throughout day and night. We've not called it back but it is starting to get disturbing, in more ways than one! HELP!!!

On some services you can get charged for calls from abroad - check that - and see if you are getting scammed. If not make a recording of the tome you get when you hear a phone ringing. Answer the call and let her listen to the sound of a phone ringing - she will wait for someone to answer - meanwhile her bill will rocket - end of problem,

i won't see this direct physique of concepts working a technique or the different. What appropriate to the hoax calls? The emergency amenities on 999 are already jammed up. My wager is that the bobby on the undergo the place I stay would be bombarded with stupid calls all day and nighttime. undesirable sod.

Send a text ? eg "Stop calling this number" & give a name - not necessarily your own.
Your telco might be able to block it for you.

is the number with held? if so get in touch with your network provider.....if not give the number out on the internet, see how she likes it!
