I graduated with a B.S. in biomedical engineering from a good school. My GPA isn't that great, cumulative is 3.0 and major is 3.2. Do I have a chance to get into a master's program in biomed engineering with my GPA? I really want to get into R&D in industry. Last year, I applied to some tough schools like Johns Hopkins, Georgia Tech, Boston U, UCSD, but I didn't get into any of them! It was so disappointing. My GRE scores are fine and I have good rec letters. What do schools look for in master's students?? Any recommendations of other schools I should apply to? It seems easier to apply for the PhD program since graduate committee see those applicants being more serious about research.
