I was wondering if there was a such thing as disposable "color" contacts. If so, whats the price range, and where could I get them (i.e. Walmart or any other store) as of....now??

You need a prescription for them. Eye exams for contacts can range from 85 to over a hundred dollars. I believe wally world carries them, but every store is different. They can order them for you most of the time.

As a (former) contact wearer myself I can say that color disposable contacts are indeed available. Not only do they come in different solid colors, but they also come in different graphics designs as well (such as an "8-ball" or "cats' eyes" or "fire"). Although they can be purchased without vision correction (for people who already have perfect vision), I don't believe that you can go to a place like WalMart and get them. I think they can only be purchased thru an optometrists office. As far as I'm concerned...anything that is going to go into my eyes will definitely have to have my doctors approval. There was a case here in OKC where a OK. State Fair goer purchased a pair of these colored contacts and nearly went blind because of it. He wound up with severe vision loss due to an eye infection caused by improper fit. So...be very careful.

Yes, but you need to get a prescription. The reason is to make sure they fit properly, you have to know the curvature of your eye to match with the contacts. They range around $25-$30, depending on the manufacturer, color, & lens type.

Yes there is and there can run anywhere from $15 to $25. They dont sell them @ Walmarts but you can always get them at a Swapmeet or Indoor Swapmart of some sort.
