6 months. Four weeks in a month 24 divided by 4 equals 6. Every fourth weeks is a new month in pregnancy.
1-4 weeks is the first month
5-8 second
9-12 third
13-16 fourth
17-20 fifth
21-24 sixth
25-28 seventh
29-32 eighth
33-36 ninth
37-40 tenth
what makes it so complicated is that you don't actually say that you are in that month till the end. Like if you are 22 weeks pregnant you would say I am five months pregnant. But when you turn 24 weeks then you say I am six months pregnant. You can also keep track by remembering that you are so many months and weeks. Like 22 weeks is five months and two weeks.
Don't listen to Cara b, in pregnancy you go by every four weeks, by a certain day like every Thursday I am starting a new week in pregnancy. There is forty weeks or ten months but most woman give birth before they actually reach the forty week mark.

To those people telling you there are exactly 4 weeks in a month, I would remind them that that would make you pregnant for 10 months and that there would be 13 months in a year. Neither of these are the case. There are 40 weeks or 9 months in pregnancy. 40/9 = 4.4444, so there are 4.4444 weeks in a pregnant month. (I rounded, the 4's really keep going.) To find out how many months pregnant you are, you divide the number of weeks, 24 by 4.4444 to get 5.4 months, so you are 5.4 months pregnant.

Let's see...if there are 4 weeks in a month, and you're 24 weeks, then you take 24 weeks and divide by 4 weeks and you get what month. so 24/4 is equal to 6. congradulations. you're six months pregnant. I hope to god that your child does not inherit whatever math skills you have.

For all the people saying that because there are 4 weeks in a months you are 6 months pregnant they are wrong. There is only one month out out the twelve that we have that is exactly 4 weeks, long and that is February, so don't be fooled or discouraged, they don't know what they are talking about. You would approx. somewhere in your 5th month. Don't let them make you feel stupid, and Congrats, it won't be long now!!!!

A normal human gestation is 40 weeks (roughly 10 months), so, you are six months and you have 16 weeks to go. Good luck!
