Okay this guy jim was cutting these pieces of wood at a rate of 10 per 6 pieces. He figured that if he kept working at the same rate he would work for 20 for 12 pieces. This is his work
6=10 12=20 something is wrong with his thinking.

10 per 6 pieces ......60 pieces.

20 per 12 pieces ........240 pieces.

10 MINUTES per 6 pieces?

Um, does it depend how many cuts he makes in each piece?
Like, if he made five cuts in one big log to make six pieces, he'd need eleven cuts in an even bigger log to make twelve, and that would take more than twice as long.
