deja vu......is the experience of feeling you have done something before when it is in actual fact a new thing being done.
And yes it does feel extremely funny but not in the laughing sense.

Well, you asked, so here it is.
When an incarnation is set upon by the feeling of genuine deja vu, it is simply because they are reacting to a situation or circumstance that another of their incarnations is having.
Here, simple. Your Higher Self extends many incarnational streams of energy into bodies on earth, hence "incarnation". Your Higher Self, on earth only in this galaxy, incarnates SIMULTANEOUSLY. So, you have anywhere from a few hundred to a couple thousand distinct incarnations experiencing all across the time stream on earth at the same time, from your Higher Self's' point of view.
Some in ancient Greece, some in China, perhaps the Civil War in 19th century North America, etc, etc. If another one of your incarnations is at a particular locale in a different time stream, and you are in the same area; or if there is a shared experience or circumstance around this area, then a very strong feeling of deja vu is perceived.
This is because of the transferring of energy from the incarnations into the Higher Self, and the feedback therein. Rest assured your other incarnation is, as well, feeling deja vu.
The "funny feeling" is the perception of your incarnational nature on a sub-conscious level. As the trading and networking of experiences is funneled off to the incarnations, this particular node in the time stream is magnified. The perception moves through the sub-conscious and manifests as instinct, perhaps panic, wonderment or confusion. Upon closer investigation one will realize where the actual sensations originate from, and why.
I hope that answered your question.

The only time I've ever experienced deja vu is right before a seizure.
It is not a good feeling.

Earth calling above response writer.
What is Deja Vu (vous)?
Your brain, as you know, is a computer. Like a computer, you have input (eyes,nose,ears,touch,etc.). The data is processed and stored, and later recalled. The processing and storage in a computer is done by a CPU and memory chip respectively.
In the brain, the memory is created by nerve cells forming a pattern with adjacent cells and a synapse is the electrical charge that stores and recalls the "memory" . Deja vous is a short circuit. What happens is memory is recalled SIMULTANEOUSLY with the input without going through the "processor" time delay.

You might be interested in the Denzel Washington movie "Deja Vu" that is being released on Nov 22nd. It's a psychological action movie that attempts to explain why it happens. (It's only a movie though...)

It is a phenomenon. The brain is only 10 percent used during a life time. This truly is a good question!
