Translator. French/Spanish/Italian/Portuguese into English.
Work at home to my own schedule, no bosses breathing down my neck, I do what I love, and learn new things every day. I wouldn't swap it for any other job in the world (except for the obvious ones like being a pro footballer).

I am going to go at this differently. I have a "job" I get paid for but to me that is not my job in life. My job, to me, is to make sure I am there for my family and friends (even when tired), and try to help when and where I can. Not made up for this forum, just who I am.

i am an engineering technician for NEC electronics (we don't make computers at my location, just the chips.)
it is a 24 hour factory, and i am lucky enough to have the 6pm - 6am shift.
it really is rather lucky, actually, because during the day is when all the managers and engineers are running about...plus night shift gets a 15% differential. so it's a more laid back atmosphere than day shift, and we get paid more than them! (okay...sleep sucks tho.)
i work in a clean room, so i wear a cleanroom suit (we call it a bunnysuit).
as an engineering tech, i work under the engineers to handle special requests and to solve problems with product that occur during improper processing, or machine malfunction.
i love my job!

I Dream a lot, i try to live every day doing the best i can, trying to be happy and to help others being happy...life is not all about a job, that is just a part of it.

Been medically retired from oilfeild accident been studying CDL and bible last couple years next week job hunting been retired for 12 years and working harder than ever gotta do something.

I am now a subpostmaster and village shop keeper. I used to be a prison officer + wing manager. Before that I was an aid worker in Russia/Africa. Who knows what is next?
