did inuyasha anime really end? i know the manga is still going on. the anime of inuyasha ended at 167 episodes. the episode where it ended can be found on manga chapter 355. now the manga of inuyasha is going to be 500. i think it's at 480 right now. why did it end? i think it ended because the people who did the anime in japan got tired of doing fillers since the anime caught up to the manga so quickly. so they should do more episodes since now it's 100+ chapters later and it's still unbelievabally popular by most. i read from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/InuYasha that it will continue its run at the start of 2007. since its from a good source, i believe its true. is it still going in japan. are they creating more eps. i would look at info but the sites are in japanese and i can't read japanese in its simplest form. i just want to hear your oppinions

There has been no official confirmation on whether there will new seasons of Inuyasha but it is highly likely that there will be. Inuyasha is a very popular series, and with many people demanding for more, I don't see why the company won't make more episodes when it will make a huge profit.

The producers of the Inuyasha anime hinted that they might start creating more episodes of it, and that's the reason the "last" episode of Inuyasha didn't really seem like an "ending." Howeveit's not officially stated. I hope they do make more episodes... even though I don't really watch the anime (I read the manga^^)

Actually, there were a few stories from the manga that never made it into the anime series. A good site for information on Inuyasha is a is blog called InuYasha Information From Japan. It has the latest on the manga & other IY related news as well as other Rumiko Takahashi manga info. Here it is :

Let us hope so. InuYasha went the way of Sailor Moon. The episodes became redundant and constantly repeated the same basic "Monster of the Day" formula. I won't put my personal opinion into this too much, but there are much better anime out there than InuYasha, which is no different than Ranma 1/2, made by the same woman.

It isn't still going on in Japan but the company who animated it was thinking about making more episodes after the manga ends but there hasn't been any news yet. I read this from some website a long time ago but I really hope they make more episodes.

I think they're starting a 2nd season of Inuyasha... because the anime doesn't really "end"... the manga is still ongoing though

yes but with a none conclusive ending, if you want that you ether have to stick with the on going manga's and the movies that are still bing made. or demand thay the continue the series. and i'm sure they will be happy to since it' means more money to do so and they like to havethe north american market until the actully give a conclusion to this story.

The TV one: it was sort of an unusally place to stop; after a dramatic battle. But then again who would have wanted a dull battle and then the ending... Manga: And then there was the manga ending...it was better than the TV verison but then I wish they would have had more incite on the characters like what happened to Koga...?
