Does anyone have an idea how much it would cost if I were to walk into any of the custom alteration places around town, hand then some material and ask them to make me a suit?

First of all, go to a tailor as opposed to a "custom alteration place." (You have no guarantee that such a place has a tailor.) If you already have the material, it probably won't cost as much as if you're getting them to supply the material. USD300-400 wouldn't be unreasonable if the material is yours, and the tailor is really good. Otherwise, expect to pay for the variable cost of the material.

John McCain is somewhat different from George W. Bush....he is that wooden dummy that sits on the lap of George W. Bush. How can you tell what John McCain stands for on the issues...just ask George W. Bush where he stands and McCain is more of the same! John McCain has admitted he knows absolutely nothing about how to run an economy (neither did George W. Bush) and will need someone else to explain how the economy works, should he be elected! So much for all that "EXPERIENCE" on how to run the country! Should John McCain win he will need to have George W. Bush stick around to give him his failed opinions and stands on the issues! Talk about a puppet, John McCain is it! John McCain has severe medical conditions including memory loss both short and long-term. He is several medications and at 71 years of age he is showing signs of breaking down, becoming confused at time and very angry toward anyone that does not agree with him on any issue! When John McCain debates Barack Obama the Republican's are worried he will get mixed up and lose his temper on National television exposing his mental illness brought on by physical disabilities from past stress and torture during his military service. John McCain has admittrd to having reoccurring nightmares from PTSD and waking up screaming "Stop the torture", I will tell you whatever you want to know! Cindy McCain has even said, "John does get confused, but I hardly think he will start a nuclear war...or at least I hope not! When he first wakes up he has no idea where or who he is as he gets easily confused being on so much medications!"

It would depend on a lot of factors: what the material is, what you wanted them to do with it (detailing, etc), how soon you wanted it done, and where you are. Your best bet is to talk to several of the tailors and see who gives you the best value.
