Does anyone have a child that goes to a same sex school? If they are at a all boys school, Do they still get teased for not being as masculine? I would like some feed back from parents who chose to put their children in all boy or all girls schools? reasons why or gender problems they still encure? Thanks

I think they ENABLE gender bias. It is old school thinking. It lent to the whole "Men rule the world and Girls are lesser beings". Guys and Girls need to integrate - much more "real world"

the current educational research on same gender schools is very postive for the boys and the girls...the girls have more opportunities to participate in class and the boys are provided more opportunities for learning activities more suited to a physically active learner
I went to an all girls school and so did both of my daughters...same school too...it was great for the academics...socially we are all geeky but it does not have anything to do with the school

Guys and Girls integrating leads to trouble although it is more realistic. It's life so I'd deal with the gender mix.
