Theme is defined as the point the author/writer is trying to make, and i cant seem to come up with one..any help would be greatly appreciated!

i think the point was that you can't really have a utopian society in this day and age. technology is too great to keep things "under wraps"...

Should we ignore real menaces we can't control in favor of imagined ones we can?

the only thing i know about the movie is its a horror movie. Maybe, the author is trying to teach a moral lessons

Maybe one of using scare tactics to close off the world around you? Or, go out and find the truth for yourself. Don't take things at face value.

trust would be a good one because....
-the blind girl trusts her friends and families to "guide" her
- the blind girl's father trusts his daughter to bring him back the right medication when his life is at risk
