My son hardly sleeps during the day and wakes up about every one to two hours at night. He used to sleep through the night. Do you think he might be teething still. I have also started giving him a pacifier and when I give him his pacifier he goes right to sleep. I'm also wondering if I should start sleeping in the same room with him and see if this helps.

If he sleeps through the night alright with a pacifier, go with that. it is easy enough the wean them off of it later. Usually he'd be drooling and fussy when teething. He might just be going through a stage. My daughter did that and we just got through it. When I really needed to sleep, I slept in the same room with her, but I tried not to make it a habit for her or myself. :-) Try interacting more during the day to "wear" him out. Also, make sure he has a bedtime feeding. Above all, do what you feel is right. Your his mom/dad. You know ultimately what is best. Good luck!

Sleeping in the same room with him isn't going to help anything. He needs to learn how to soothe himself back to sleep. If you keep getting up and giving him a paci, he'll get used to it.
He probably is teething. My son is 5 months and wakes up at night sometimes after sleeping through the night and sometimes he doesn't. But I leave him alone and he falls right back to sleep.

DON'T sleep in the same room. that's setting yourself up for something you really don't want to get yourself in to!!! If the pacifier puts him to sleep, it probably is his teeth. The pressure from his teeth is relieved when he sucks on his pacifier. Let him have that, if he goes to sleep, just don't get him addicted to it.

You should try and encourage your little one to sleep during the day. Good naps set the stage for good nights.

The fact that he is waking up at night now is normal. It could be teething or it could just be that he wants milk/cuddling. I use hylands teething tablets and they work great.

I co sleep with my son and he does sleep better that way. I started co sleeping at 6 months.
