I am very confused. I saw in the Hongkong map that there is two international Airport, the Chep Lap Kok Airport in Lantau and Hongkong International Airport near Kawloon... If I will be boarding Philippine Airlines from Manila where will I arrive? In Hongkong International Airport or in Chep Lap kok International Airport?

it's located in lantau. chep lap kok is the main international airport in hongkongand it is also known as the hongkong international airport.

The NEW airport is the Chep Lap Kok Airport which is in Lantau Island. Philippine Airlines will land at Chep Lap Kok.
The Kaitak Airport in Kowloon is the OLD airport which I believe is no longer in operation.

You should be arriving Chep Lap Kok Airport on the Island of Lantau. All international flight arrive there. It's a 30-35 minute train ride to Kowloon and another 5-8 minutes to Hong Kong across the bay.

yeah it's Chep Lak Kok aka HongKong International Airport in Lantau Island..
there's no airport near Kowloon.. Kai Tak is already closed.

D greendesk: They certainly are not ruder than in the U.S. I've actually found them very friendly. On the other hand in the U.S. they are downright abusive. As for HK Intl.... - it's the best in the world. If you have time, take the airport express train (20 minutes) to Central). Have fun. If you don't want to leave the airport, you won't be bored because it's basically a shopping mall with airplanes. Very nice... granite and marble floors everywhere!
