roll bar padding and nascar KNOWS he did it, too. they are "checking" the tape to prove it. i hope they park his sorry butt for the next 39 races (3 this year and all of next year), fine him about $250,000, dock him ALL of his owner and driver points for this year and put him on lifetime probation. that should fix the problem.

He threw some piece or equipment, and NASCAR decided to not review the tape at that time, but Robby Gordon threw that piece of equipment out the window so he wouldn't go 2 laps down by the leader at that time, and he ended up getting the lucky dog. After the race Jeff Burton said that NASCAR should find out who did it and fine them $100,000 and some owner points well they ended up finding out that Robbie Gordon did throw something out of his window to bring out the caution, and he got fined 15,000 and 50 driver and owner points. I think they should of fined him more but at least he got penalized for it.

what is the big deal with a piece of rollbar padding?in my opinion, nascar is too quick to throw the caution most of the time.the first car to drive near the pad would have blown it off the track anyway.even if it did get run over,do u think it would hurt the car?i dont.
we all know that it came from robby's car.we are not idiots.i think the replay is conclusive.
lets just not throw the caution so quick nascar, yall are ruining the racing.

It looked like a piece of roll bar padding. It looked like it came from his car so he could get back on the lead lap---which is exactly what happened--imagine that! Of course he denied it when asked about it after the race.

Yes it was...he's been fined $15,000 and it cost him 50 driver pints and 50 car owner points and placed on probation for the remainder of the year... his crew chief was also fined $10,000

He got what he deserved. Drivers need to follow the rules and not break them to try and benefit themselves or their team mates...
