like you spout and pontificate about x to someone but then you go and do y when they are not around
note: i suspect i am using one of these words incorrectly (contradiction or hypocrisy or paradox ) and i will be appropriately chastised by some rightious school teacher here....go for it!!

OK it is election time...so I will pick that area as there are so many hypocisies in life. Politicians put each other down for spending sooo much money on campaigns, they do this on a podium at a dinner that costs $750.00 a plate for donations to their campaigns. To me that is a hipocrisy and a contradiction to what they say are their beliefs. Note: I did not pick on one party or the other, both are guilty.
Had to add one more that covers both, because this has happened.
Nothing like being "flicked" off in traffic by a driver of a car that has a religious message bumper sticker and two kids in the back seat.

Wow.. that's a good question! It's not often I actually THINK about a question on here for more than a split second but this one.. hmm...
Usually, what you see is what you get but I would have to say that I'm extremely confident and knowlegable about who I am, am very caring, kind & outwardly loving and give that impression to all who know me, but sometimes I personally have a real problem recognizing that I deserve to receive in return the love that I put out.
Apart from that, I NEVER say X and do Y. It's a major part of who I am & what I believe in.

I would have to say that im a one of those people that likes to get consumed in Evil themes of this world, just mo-tiffs about evil not really meaning to any harm but have found a comfort zone in all the evil music and evil movies and lots of Gothic inspired art including the music i love to write. But in contrast I'm really a holy person who talks to God on a daily basis and really likes to help people. My personality is nowhere near my preferred life style.

i smoke tobacco, but eat very healthy food.
in fact, i'm usually smoking a cig while condesending one of my co-workers for eating greasy fast food every day.
