Kerry is a "troop" hahahahhahaa.

I'd call Kerry's comments a freudian slip of the worst kind.

Because he doesn't know any of them personally. If you don't know anyone from any given group of people, it is easy to say things about them that are not true. You don't see Kerry going over to Iraq and actually talking to any of our men uniform like our president has done.
My son is in the Marines, and I can assure that he did not join because he didn't study hard. In fact, he did home study so he could graduate from high school early because he wanted to go to boot camp right away. He is also able to take college courses while in the military.

Another highly educated question with highly educated remarks.
What is a *****holes? Is that in the dictionary? Did you learn that in public school? You brag about working in the news and distort what Kerry said? That's not being honest. He said.
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
Now go read that report from whoever that said they are not all from poor families. Now ask someone to explain to you the rank of those that have died in Iraq. Did you see any Generals on that list? The data on that so called study is not accurate. One thing for sure you are not in Iraq. Are you?. You also never served in the military like the war hero that John Kerry is. Bush and Cheney were both draft dodgers. They know nothing of war.

Scary thought for a liberal and Damacrap to think that over 70% of our military historically and today vote Republican. This is a fact.

Liberals and Democrats have taken the "Chicken Little" position- run for cover while shouting "the sky is falling!", failing to recognize that it is after all late Oct and starting Nov, it is fall and is in fact leaves from the trees falling.

Don't misunderstand me, I have never rubber stamped any party, but liberals have hi-jacked the Democrat party and taken it far beyond the people they are supposed to represent: the every day common man and woman. Mindless babble is all I hear, no viable alternative solutions offered nor given, rather just constant running of diarrhea of the mouth. Perhaps a good dose of ExLax would well serve to clear their thinking as it seems that they may be constipated.

One thing for sure: we either need to go to fight to win or don't go at all. Have we forgotten the lessons of Korea, Viet Nam, and other "conflicts"? The difference this time is that the enemy is followers of a radical religion that does not respect human life, will do what they have to do to take over the world and have a stated goal: to convert the word to Islam or kill all who refuse to convert. I for one am not ready to allow some SOB come to my door take my wife and kids and do what they will, and tell me to deny Christanity for Islam or I will die. I am, after all an American of the US variety. We don't let people do that to us or other innocents.

When we fought Japan, we had to take war to their level to win. It was brutal. Unless we do likewise with terrorism, we will loose and losses will continue to mount. I say let the military loose to do what they are to do and when Islamic terrorists see they have no hope of winning they too will cease. But if they are winning it is because of our own mass media's assistance and those not in control who want to be in control mindlessly condeming our efforts and troops. We in effect will- and are destroying ourselves from within. Terrorists will not have to attack us on our shores again. They have the media and liberals.

My family name is found on the Declaration of Independence, the Lewis and Clark expedition, we fought on both sides of the civil war, was at Iwo Jima and has had a presence in the military throughout this country's history. We put our blood bond with our word.

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:

"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in ... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

John Kerry said something out loud that most people are afraid to:

Many kids with educational advantages go to college to start their adult lives.

Many kids without these educational advantages have to find other routes to get started and many times the military is a prominent option.

What's the big deal?

It's a bigger deal that the White House misled us into a military fiasco that has KILLED thousands of soldiers.

Which is worse?

The white house still has not apologized for lying to us.

He is a pussy that got where he is because of his wife, and thats it. Somebody should kick the **** out of him! Just really pisses me off that the dems, after all the crap about how they where so sure they would win, now are finding out that they arent, and so lets go back to what we do best and lie to the American public. He is referring to what happened with the draft in Vietnam. Also he should know, he's a legit vet, unlike our current leader.

Not all of them are, but Kerry is certainly one who talks the talk and runs away when it's time to walk the walk.

I don't the support the war in Iraq but I felt his comment was rather insulting to the men and women who ARE serving or have served the country in Iraq.

I'm sure he said more than that, but you've chosen to misquote him. Probably because you are stupid and it hit home.

Karl, baby, you proved my point by responding to me in an unrelated question.

Don't feel bad, lotus blossom - everyone cannot be smart.
