I'm from the Netherlands, and we get snow every year as well.

However, I've got a friend living in California, and before we met up at another's friend's place in Philly, mid-februari 2003, she never had seen snow before either. (well, other than on TV, of course)

particular, I grew up with snow and snowboarding. replaced into VERY amused nevertheless the 1st time my spouse and daughters observed snow !! we'd lived on Oahu in Hawaii for the 1st 4 years of our marriage, and then San Diego, Ca for the subsequent 6 years !! Now we live to tell the tale our litttle ranch in between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite nationwide Park... we get snow each and every iciness and final season we had a snowfall that snowed us in for a week !!

I use to live in New Zealand and never saw snow. Now I live in England and Ive seen it a few times but it never stays for long. I wish we could have a blizzard and go sledging!

Oh, yeah. I grew up in Michigan, but I live in Texas now. I really miss snow & even the occasional blizzard...but what I truly miss is the changing of the seasons that we don't really get down here.

Oh yeah I remember when I was a kid we had a snow that was up past my waist which is unusual for North Carolina (the piedmont that is...not so unusual up in the mtns)
However it is not nearly as much snow as you get considering you also get all that lake effect snow!

Yes, and lots of it! I lived in the snow belt of PA for a long time; that's one reason I moved away.

Yes, we have it so much here in Macedonia, Europe, during the winter. The first one right now is on the highest mountains arround. Sometimes it's more than 3 feet deep in some towns. Ewwww...
