About 40 million dead in this time period alone through starvation, PC death squads, concentration camps. The Long March in China 1935 and the founding of Communist China 1949, 1950 Communists enter Korean war. Stalin is consolidating his power with continued murders, liquidations, and mass executions. ethnic cleansing of regions in 1938 killed about 2 million alone. about half a million to a million Politically incorrect a year died between 1935 and 1952.
Books to read
"MAO", "Stalin", "Under the loving care of the heavenly father"

After all this there are still many Communist left who blame communisms failures on bad leaders. Communism has only killed 150 million so lets give it another chance.

Interesting stuff-you might also look up the Communist-led United Council of Working-Class Women (UCWW)-I think that was around 1935

I believe 1952 was the backlash...

Well, as you know it never cought on... Despite the approval of many of our workers. The communist movement died down after the twenties, probably because FDR (the great and wonderful FDR) compromised and socialized our country to a small extent... and partly because of the poor handling of communism by the USSR... Yet, there are still some of us who feel that the worker is important.

That essentially covers World War II and the beginning of the Cold War. Researching the Soviet Union and Joseph Stalin should lead you to whatever information you need.
