No. There are two reasons for not knowing -- one is that we don't know to the nearest million years when people first started to walk the earth, there are only estimates based on the occasional remnant footprint or bone in a bog. The second is that there was a catastrophe when some supervolcano on or near Sumatra blew 75,000 years ago and some scientists speculate that only 5000 people or some such number survived it. How many were living immediately before that event, god only knows. Whether it was 5000 or 500000 that survived it, the point is that we cannot tell by extrapolating the genetic record backwards how many people were on earth 100,000 or 200000 years ago.

It's actually roughly about the same number as are here now. Figure that if everyone has two children, then they've replaced themselves when they die. Granted, many people have more than two, but many others die childless so it balances out.

Are they mole people or some kind of cross breed mutant?Interesting. How often do you see them? What do they eat? Do they only come out at night? You should start a web site with them.
