Do you listen to Sean Hannity?
My mom called me to discuss this and I didn't know what she was talking about. I don't so much blame him, he's just a sad idiot

what he said was wrong but it has no meaning or relation to the up coming election if what one member of any party says speaks for the whole party then the republicans are in far worse shape than the dems.....and these people on here who are acting like this will have any bearing on this election are sadly wrong....sorry.

If he was speaking of military service like one would a fast food job - something which one falls back on because one did badly in school - then it was disrespectful and ill-considered, but not 'treason' as some hysterics are calling it.

Sounds more like a comment on the way the military tends to exploit young soldiers with a lower education level by sending them into battle ahead of other groups.

What, you think that doesn't happen?

In reference to the soldiers: that's not what he meant, but if he did I would be ashamed

What about this is untrue? The Army just lowered it standards to admit low performing recruits. If you drop out of high school and hav eno choice but to join the army, you just might get "stuck in Iraq" and let's not kid ourselves, we ARE stuck in Iraq.

Bush had plenty of options to make Iraq a success. But they would have looked 'soft' - you know, like spending money on things like electricity and water systems for the Iraqis, not bombs that blow them to bits.
