You need to disconnect the bluetooth earpiece from your brothers phone and then connect it to yours or that earpiece isn't for your razor phone

1.) Open the Settings menu on the phone.
1a.) Select Bluetooth settings
1b.) Choose "activate" or "enable" Bluetooth.

Bluetooth is now "turned on" but not active.

2.) Go to the Bluetooth menu on the phone.
2a.) Select the "Add device" from the menu
The phone will begin to search for a Bluetooth devce nearby

3.) Make sure the erpiece is powered OFF.
3a.) Hold the main button down until the earpiece powers on and the blue light comes on and stays on. (not blinking or flashing.)

Now Both items are in "Painring Mode" and will seek each other and "pair' so that the earpiece will not transmit to anything except its mated handset.

NOTE: the phone will only "search" for anout 10-15 seconds. If you fail to get the earpiece into pairing mode soon enough, you will have to go back to the phone and have it search again once the earpiece is set.

After a few seconds of "searching", the phone and earpiece will blink rapidly a few times.

4.) At this point, the phone will ask for a PIN code for the earpiece. Key in 0000 (four zeros).
4a.) At this point the devices are paired.

Next you must "conect them"

5.) Select the earpiece from the "trusted devices" menu.
5a.) Choose the "connect" option.

The phone and arpiece should be connected, activated, and ready to make and receive calls...

Different models might have slightly different options and procedures...

your phone getting signal and your blue tooth not connecting are totally different things, if your blue tooth wont connect, its either the blue tooth or the handset. If your phone isn't getting signal, something is defective with the phone exclude the blue tooth. Contact your carrier verizon tmobile etc, have them send you another phone as that phone should still be under warranty.

it should...take it into your local carrier & they'll pair them up (connect them) no problem.
