why are tv stations adding the din into thier telecasts.?

it is annoying , unnessary and spoils the program. The only way to avoid it is go to a clean channel, which we and other viewers are doing.

Maybe to get your attention. I don't like it either. The public TV stations here don't do it.

We have a local radio station that has an annoying sound of a trumpet playing the same few notes over and over while they give the weather forecast.

Note to Damon: din means noise
