It is probable that the baby has dropped. Babies generally do not drop early in your first pregnancy but they DO drop early in subsequent pregnancies. That is why you didn't feel this last time. Some women find each pregnancy after the first they drop earlier and further which can be very uncomfortable but does not cause early births.
You probably have an appt soon and I would just wait for then to discuss it with your caregiver. HOWEVER if you start having contractions 10 min apart of closer or other symptoms of prelabour go IMMEDIATELY to your caregive or the ER (if your caregiver is unavailable)
If you are having pelvic pain there are exercises you can do to alleviate the problem. You can also use belly supports/wrapping though I think having your caregiver show you how would be good, if your caregiver doesn't know how you can find instructions online. Visiting a chiropractor will also help, and in addition chiropractors are great at ensuring optimal fetal alignment which will make for a faster and easier labour.
Take care and rest as much as you can (which is hard with another child I KNOW)

The baby has probably dropped. If you look in a full length mirror, you may be able to see that your tummy is lower.
Try laying on the floor on your back, with your legs up on a chair or the sofa....or anywhere where you can get in a position where your legs are supported and you're in a position like an "Z"...except where the "/" is "|".
It takes the pressure off your pelvis. Just make sure someone is there to help you up.
Sounds like you're getting close. But you can drop WEEKS before you deliver.

well if it's your second child, the chances of you delivering early are very likely. i don't know why that is, but that's how it seems to happen with alot of women. with you having pressure so much, i'm sure you already know that means the baby is dropping. so look out for other signs of early labor because it could happen! i'm 37 weeks weeks with my first child and he still hasn't dropped. i have a feeling he's gonna be stubborn and come late. lol.

i still havent gone into labour yet. the midwife said it could just be pressure pains and offered me a comofrt belt to make it a bit easier on me, but i never had the money for the deposit!
what helps me is lying down but that only works at that time once im up and walking again the pains come back!, so i dont really have any advice sorry!
