How would I go about doing that. What kind of clothes would I have to wear. I have a large chest, but I when I shop in women's the clothes are what peopple would wear in their 40's and I'm in my 20's. I feel like I have to dress in the junior section because the clothes are not my style. would petites help? I'm 5'4 and I'm at a medium body type. What should I do to dress like more of a mom?

To start off, I have never dressed in a showy manner. I'm insecure about my chest and wouldn't show my clevage off. I want to look good for myself, because obviously I'm not happy with my clothes.

I'm gonna give you two answers...
1) Don't worry too much about it. Seriously, most people don't really care, and it seems like you're worried about what people will think of the way you dress because you have a child now, or something along those lines.
2) If you DO want to dress more "appropriately"
You say you have a large chest, so dressing in petites probably isn't what you're looking for, hehe. Really, if you want to look a certain way, best thing to do is to gather information from multiple sources... think of it like a research project without all the paperwork, hehe. Look through magazines, find pictures of outfits and styles you like... then go to dept. stores and malls, etc. when you have time and see how much it would cost you to put together a similar outfit or style. Don't actually buy any of it yet, though.
After you get a half-dozen or so ideas, then sit down and think about what you can afford, and what you think really fits you best, both physically and by preference. If you can come up with 2 or 3 styles that work, then you're doing great, because let's face it, most people really only have one style... and that's it.
It's hard to really give any more specific advice without SEEING you, but I hope that helps.

You are not able to difference the get dressed, so that you must feel approximately what you'll difference. Those matters are: hair make-up jewellery add-ons bag or grasp footwear You are not able to stray too a long way from what works with the get dressed or you can seem mismatched, however take advantage of younger alternative you'll for every of those. Also, at 14 it is lovely definite that no one goes to mistake you to your mother. If you publish a picture of your self dressed in the get dressed (and even simply publish a picture of the get dressed), you could get extra distinctive recommendation from one of the most extra type aware women round right here.

I'd say the best way to start is to buy a few, well-made pieces that can be matched with everything and create outfits easily.
Five items that you should have in your closet:
-A sleek pencil skirt (try grey, black or any neutral colour)
-A fitted blazer in a good material
-A pair of darkwash jeans (no rips, tears, embroidery or embellishments)
-A pair of well-fitting dress pants
-A white dress shirt.
All of those staple pieces are great for building a wardrobe and create a more mature look without being too old. Also, try to get rid of old clothes you don't feel suit your style anymore, like t-shirts with cartoons or sayings on them, faded and ripped jeans, anything ill-fitting. You can replace all these things with more 'adult' versions like plain t-shirts, button-up tops, stylish shoes (kitten heels, pumps and more streamlined sneakers are great).
You can still shop in the junior's section, but try to mix the younger/trendier pieces with your staple pieces. This way, you're keeping that fun style but you're not looking like a teenager anymore.
Also, If you feel the women's section is a little too dated for you, try going to stores like Banana Republic. The clothes may be a bit more costly, but you don't need to buy everything all at once. I think quality rather than quantity can make a huge difference.
As you mentioned, though, you can also give the petite's section a try. Usually the styles are pretty similar to the women's though. Go to your local mall and look around, try things on and see what gives you the look you're going for. :)

I would say more sweaters or slacks. Nothing Eddie Bauer yet though. Haha. New York & Company and their style clothing are perfect for a younger woman that wants to feel classy and mature. They sell more mature designs with low enough cuts and tight enough silhouettes to still be a little showy, perfect for a larger chest.

Classy is simple. Try the Misses department or shop somewhere like Fashion Bug or Casual Corner or The Gap. American Eagle... JCPenney is good.
Aim for simple jeans, khakis, Oxford style shirts (button down collars) and cotton blouses and sweaters. The sweaters can be loose so you're not accentuating your bust. You can also wear polo style shirts tucked in for a casual mom-on-the-run look :)

My daughter had this same problem, she insisted on buying junior clothes after having a baby, but junior clothes are not designed for people who have had children because when you have a baby your hips spread to deliver the baby, you need to try the misses department. You can still find cute clothes there.

Don't worry so much about "looking like a mom".
However, you cannot go wrong with classic and sporty casual look. Whatever you choose, pick clothes that are comfortable, modest, but ones you feel you look good in.
Personally for this time of year, I like nice sweaters and slacks.

Why would you want to dress like a middle-aged house frau when you are still in your 20s? If you are the MILF of the neighborhood, I say you should own it. There will be plenty of time to wear dowdy clothes and have a utilitarian, suburban hairdo when you really do grow old.

dont dress more like "a mom"...thats a broad term thats going to have all kind of meanings....dress like you...make sure you feel comfortable....dont dress too old because you are so young, but dont think moms have to dress certain ways...my mom (im 21, im not goin put moms on blast but she was a older mom by todays standards i guess) but i mean, she dresses hella cute...at 21, i want some of her outfits okay? lol so make sure ur comfortable...u dont have to be hella conservative or whateva. just dress moderately...nothing where u think kids are going to be like "why she dressin like a kid" and where other moms might be lookin like "dont she have kids? why she lookin all hoocie" u kno what i mean? :) just make sure ur comfortable, u feel cute and pretty, sexy and all that and enjoy ur life as a mom...one thing i will say for us slighty shorter folks (im like, barely hittin 5'5" myself) skirt length of all kinds are cute....legs, dont be scared to show um off, but probably steer clear of mini skirts (although leggings are in to help with that) and make sure full length pants cover like, the top part of the shoe, and heels are u friend....u can be cute and mommy 2...good luck ma!
