Do you think the longer you go without ovulating or having a period the more likely it is to increase your odds of having twins? i was just wondering how that worked...i mean i know they have t o be in the family..my aunt has twins and so does my cuzins...

Ovulating has nothing to do with it. Identical twins happen when one egg splits into two separate embryos. Fraternal twins happen when your body releases two eggs and they both are fertilized.

no i do not think that it does. twins usually are caused by artificial insemination. there is only a 1% chance to conceive twins naturally.
i have boy/girl twins that were naturally conceived, it does run in our family..but our other 3 pregnancies were all single babies.

Although i have heard that if twins run in the family, you chances of having them are more sure!

No it DOES NOT increase your odds of having twins, but what it DOES increase is the possibility of you having uterine/ovarian cancer!!

Most of the time teins either run in the family or it is done through artifical insimulation!!!
