I am thin because I eat it rarely, and I am ACTIVE so as they say everything in moderation. Because I do this, I like to have the option to scoff into a greasy burger once in a while and even more I enjoy doing it in front of the massively overweight people in there downing 3 big macs, shakes & sundaes while feeding their fat kids the same for the fourth day in the week. Is that sick?... I think it's not me that is ill.

You are sounding like a communist or a facist if you think we should be deciding if its for the better good to allow McDonald's to stay open. I don't eat at McDonald's but I would fight for other's to have the right to eat there. Freedom of choice is an American value I would defend to the death. I don't smoke - but I believe people should have the right to smoke (as long as they aren't harming) - why should I stop someone from eating fast food. It just sounds wrong.

Corey L could not be more wrong! Temple Grandin, the remarkable savant, is responsible for having coerced McDonalds into buying beef only from ranchers that practice "kind" cattle-ranching, and humane harvesting of the beef crop. People should know the facts before ranting.

I don't eat there very often at all, but in a free country, an educated public should be allowed to enjoy their freedom any way they wish.

Should America be able to vote that you cannot eat pastrami on rye, or that you cannot eat birthday cake, or that you cannot have coffee in the morning, or that you can't have a glass of wine with dinner, or that you must exercise for one hour daily, or that you must go to the doctor twice a year, or . . .

And you classified THIS under General Arts & Humanity? Shouldn't you be classifying your condescening questions in the Health category? Or are you justifying ALL your fast food restaurant type of questions as a "Liberal Art" classification? It sure don't qualify to be a Liberal Art nor Humanitarian type of question(s).

No. I don't eat there, but a lot of people do. When no one wants to eat there anymore, it will close down and that's the way it should be.

Why would I want McDonald's to close down? It didn't do any harm to me personally. So my vote is leave it.
I eat there once awhile. I like their breakfasts and 99cents menu.
I'm very fit and tone, not overweight at all. If people overweight, they should check what they eat, not to blame fast food restaurants. They have their own will to choose what to eat.

Close it. Obesity isn't the epidemic, McDonalds is. There's so many of them that they limit people's choices.
