The Merlin game mentioned by Darwin's Game Closet is available again. As for the game that predicts the future, you might be thinking of Transogram's Kabala or Parker Brothers' Ouija or Milton Bradley's Kreskin's ESP.

Merlin was an electronic game back in the late 70's. I don't recall it having anything to do with the future.
