Brown eyes can generally wear anything! (I have brown eyes and I like to experiment with colors) I think that lavender looks nice on brown eyes though!

Brown eyes can actually be brought out better than any other eyecolor with shadows. You can go for the smoky eyes look, with dark colors and black. Black will look good for any occassion. Darker shades always bring out eye colors the best. But for the day, fun shades like a lilac, pink, champagne or even pearl look great. They enhance your eyes, give you a dewy look and at the same time make your eyes look great. I have brown eyes and my fav shades are definately black, blue (dark) and lilacs. They are great shades. If you're feeling adventurous try a really dark green shade or a grey as well. People with brown eyes can have lots of fun with shadows, because almost everything works, so just mix & match and see what you come up with. There are heaps of makeup sites, such as Loreal, Maybelline and Revlon with tips and check out magazines for makeup looks that you can copy. Most of the models, you will find have brown eyes.

Do something that is going to shimmer. Find a eyeshadow with a very fine glitter. But don't apply too much or you'll end up looking retarded. Just dust a little on and apply a bit os black eyeliner. You'll look fabolous. P.S. if that doesn't work just experiment until you find something that fits you and brings out your eyes.

I have dark brown eyes, and a lot of the time I wear shades of tan, brown or plum. I also wear blues occasionally, if I make it a smoky eye effect. Depends on the richness of blue you may be wearing. If I wear a white top, I go with blue or plums more than browns, because then my color disappears.

I just read (somewhere forgot think on the net) that you should wear shadows to complement the color of your eyes and not 'blend'...meaning don't wear brown hues.. so perhaps a nice neutral plum or deep rich green..

Anything in the cool shades should work. I think blue looks especially beautiful with brown. Maybe violet as well.

I would say purple/blues. I've seen products to bring out the brown in stores and I've used them- they work.

I have eyeliner that is light purple. A little bit of that with a nice neutral would be gorgeous!
