This is the summary of the MRI report...Near complete spinal block posterior to the l3-l4 level with a large extruded central disc. Please give me any information about potential treatment options so that I may discuss them with my doctor in order to intelligently make a decision.

I suggest you go to en.wikipedia.org/Herniated_disc. this may help shed some light on your problem and possibly give you some ideas to further investigate..Most of the time surgery is required and should not be put off..major damage can happen. ...had something like this only in the neck and was removed thru the neck..your's however is in a different area and sounds like surgery is your only alternative..Good Luck also there are some very good sites showing pictures and explanations for such if you're interested...Take God Speed..
