Everybody does the pregnant nun thing or paints a pumpkin. I want something a little more original and not overdone.

I saw this once. The lady cut her clothes so her tummy was bare and stuck out. ( Her tee shirt and pants were tight). Then she painted eyes on it-with false eyelashes, painted a very red mouth on it, and put on a pointed party hat as a nose. It was funny.

Go as an overweight slob man with a beer belly. Just get a white t-shirt, put some stains on it and wear some dirty jeans. Draw yourself some stubble on your face and carry around an empty beer can.

I had a friend who was pregnant and made her belly into her costume as a pumpkin. I don't know how she did it but it looked good.

Paint your belly like a bowling ball.
I like the fishbowl idea a few answers up, and you could dress up as cat in the hat

You could cover your stomach with a picture of a baby. And be a mother giving birth or if you use a adult picture you could be a siamese twin.
Or santa clause/ Mrs clause.

I put on a tiara/crown. Got a big white shirt and made signs that said "milk" "cheese" "Yogurt" "half and half"...and went as "The Dairy Queen".
