I know it is sugar and chocolate, so i guess i am asking what the formula is for both of those.

(chocolate contains theobromine)

LOL. The recipe for M&M's (albeit on our scale or the molecular level) is, I'm sure, a trade secret of the parent company. You aren't going to find out under normal circumstances. Maybe a disgruntled former chemical engineer for the Mars Corporation will see this and help you out.
