I think it refocuses attention on Iraq and the real lives of the soldiers.

Kerry said, "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
Liberals are now claiming he was talking about President Bush.
Nowhere did he mention the name of President Bush. His insult was directed just at our nrave troops.
He never did apologize. Republicans need to realize that liberals hate the military. If we allow Congress to be overtaken by the Democrats, we will surely see this war underfunded and our brave troops left without the tools to keep them safe or to win the war.

It is increasingly obvious that Kerry is either stupid or else cannot articulate what he intends to say. He made these ridiculous blunders through his entire campaign. Then he would waffle and try to explain what he meant.
He could sure ignite the whole world in war if he had the responsibily to deal with other world leaders.
What would he say then? Oops, I didn't mean that. The man is totally egocentric and dangerous.
The first thing out of his mouth is what he means and then has to keep going back trying to deny he said it or try to explain what he 'really' meant.

I don't think he's a viable candidate in 2008, but not because of today's comments. I just think the Democrats want a fresh face and someone who has a good chance of beating whoever the GOP put up against them.

Spin all you want sucker, but this is one that'll sitck. If you think Kerry is VIABLE for 2008 then you've lost your mind. He's lost the middle. Plain and simple, and no matter how many words you type defending him on Yahoo Answers, you aren't going to change any minds.
Put a fork in Kerry.....He's Done!

Kerry wasn't the best candidate in 2004, he's not the best candidate now. I'd be very, very surprised if he was the Democrats' choice in '08. No - I don't think he's viable.

Putting someone front & center is not always positive.
The last person to lose a presidential election & later come back to win was Nixon. Before that Cleveland. Not a very good track record for those who lose.

Hillary supports Bush in Iraq, and she will stomp the cowardly Kerry in the ground.
He won't even carry MA in the Democrat Primaries.
Hillary will make all of the "cut & runners" dead meat.

Exactly what Mel T said. He was unelectable in 2004, against a weak Republican candidate.
What would make you think he would be viable against a strong Republican candidate like Rudy Giuliani or John McCain?

I'm not a huge Kerry fan but....
""I'm not going to be lectured by a stuffed-suit White House mouthpiece standing behind a podium, or doughy Rush Limbaugh, who no doubt today will take a break from belittling Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's disease to start lying about me just as they have lied about Iraq."
He further expressed disgust with "Republican hacks, who have never worn the uniform of our country.""
Thats awesome...wish he would have done that during the election.
