I am 5 dpo and have sore and swollen breasts and some slight cramping in my uterus. Is it too early to test?

unfortunately most of our pregnancy symptoms are the same as period symptoms, but that doesn't mean u can't be pregnant!
when i found out i was pregnant with my son i hadn't even skipped a period yet and i was less than 4 weeks.
some women are different but you could have high levels of HCG in your system already, so you can always take a test now and if it says negative, you can always try again later if your periods don't come or you still think you are pregnant.
it may be that its too early to test yet...
so just take a test and see......

Yes 5 DPO is too early to test your body does not start making high levels of HcG until it implansts and that is not until 7-10 after conception and at that time there is still not enough in you urine to take an HPT to get an accurate result you need to wait until the first day of your missed period even though the proffesionals tell you to wait a week after your missed period. If you test any earlier you run the chance of getting a false negative.

I don't think so. You might want to get a combo pack and test again in a few days. The line might be very very faint and hard to see this early but you always want to know.

You could be one of the lucky ones that have high levels of HCP in their urine and it could show up in a home pregnancy test. I'd say to go ahead and take one if you're anxious. If it doesn't show positive, don't get discouraged. Wait about a week and test again.
