It could be cramps from implantation. I had this with both of my pregnancies and it normally lasted about 2-3 weeks. I got it around a month or so into pregnancy.

This was my first symptom that something was up. I remember I was sitting in a staff meeting and I felt an intense cramping low in my abdomen. It made me grab my seat and hold my breath as it grew in intensity and then faded away. This went on for about three days with me wearing a pad waiting for my period to come on before I finally took a pregnancy test. (I had given up on the idea of becoming pregnant and had started looking into adoption.)
The cramping lasted to about 9 weeks or so for me. I remember because at about 10 weeks I panicked that I was no longer feeling my symptoms, and at 10.5 weeks I spotted. I was sure I was miscarrying. Here I am at 37 weeks, hoping and praying that this bigger than average baby comes in the next 5 or 6 days. (She's already 8 pounds and I'm officially full term, so I think we are both ready.)
Remember that every pregnancy is different, so your symptoms may not follow the same pattern as other people's. Don't let it scare you as I did.
Best of luck to you.

I cramped for about a month. Your cervic is stretching and that is what is causing the cramps. (that is what the doctor told me at least). If it gets more than just uncomfortable or if you start bleeding (a brown tint is also norma), I would call you doctor again. I hope this helps!!

It's normal. It's just your uterus stretching. I think it's Implantation Cramps or something. I had it with both my pregnancies. I went to the hospital freaking out with my first one, it was a waste of money because it was completely normal!!

Congratulations! I'd give the dr. another call and insist on getting in...if for no other reason than your own peace of mind. I've had 5 and peace of mind is the paramount thing in the beginning.

Go and see your doctor instead of discussing it on the phone especially if you are in a lot of pain.

I had the same thing when I was pregnant with my son. I think as long as there is no blood you are ok.
