I am thinking about going to school to become an RN. I am looking more into schools where I can get tuition reinbursement. Do you know if once you sign the contract that you will work for them, that they are allowed to pay anything they want? Or are you supposed to get paid nicely? I don't expect the maximum when I start, but I don't want to work for $10/hour. Thanks.

It all depends on the hospital/agency that's going to sponser you. I would seriously look into the starting rates before you sighn your name on any lines. I already worked at my hospital prior to becoming an RN so they paid me a little more than their starting rate. But if you think about it..as a new graduate out of college with no experience sometimes you have no choice but to start at the bottom and work your way up. It's like that in any field. Good luck to you.
