Nope... You are not alone. Your desire for perfect life is what you are with. Don't even dare to call yourself alone. You have lots of thought in your mind. Keep a hope, desire and enthusiasm to achieve whatever you want.
Hope is the rope which swings you between success, failure, perfect , imperfect and so on...

If that is the way you feel you shold do one of two thins. Seek a therapist, because it seems you have social issues along with a self concept problem. Or, take a Human Relations course. I am required to for my BA in psychology and, even though I considered myself to be relatively mentally healthy, gained a lot from it. Or, you could just by the text that I used for the class and go over it yourself and try and adapt some of the suggestions Ford makes. The book was Human Relations: A game plan for improving personal adjustment (3rd edition) by Loren Ford.
You should know that 1/3 of Americans will be inflicted with a mental disorder in their lifetime. You are most certainly not alone, and the issue you bring up are a lot more common than you might believe. Professional help is really the best choice, but if you can't afford it or are to shy you should atleast invest in some self help books. I hope you realize who you want to be and how to get there. That book I mentioned really focuses on living the life you want to live and the steps, methods and choices that must be made to do that. Good luck and God bless.

I have always felt this way and I've never figured out why or how to deal with it. I used to think I was born into the wrong century, wrong body, wrong family, wrong universe.
