Yes you will get sued. That is a horrible trick to play on sweet innocent kids who are just asking you for candy. Save it for the teenagers who come to TP your house.
The question "trick or treat" doesn't mean "give us either a trick or a treat," it means "placate these fearsome spirits by giving treats, or the spirits will play a trick on you."
By the way, garden stores only sell helpful insects like ladybugs, if you want nasty diseased creatures like roaches you'll have to catch them yourself.
I so hope you are kidding about this.

I wouldn't take the chance if the bugs get on them they might be allergic or something then you will definitely get sued so I don't know if you want to take a chance then go ahead. If you are going to do it don't do it to little kiddies because they will be scared to get candy bags from other people and that wouldn't be fair to them.

i dont think thats a good idea. i mean, people pobably wont sue you. but its not very smart. plus little kids are very scared about things like that and ever since i found a cockroach in my halloween basket i have been over frightened of them. im not trying to sound phscologist on you but it could give a kid a very bad impression. maybe only with the kids that you know can handle it.

You can't get sued for giving out bugs. Just make sure they aren't poisonous. That is a cool idea, but I do agree only give them to the older kids.

it'll make a great breaking news story0but if you want to avoid jail time and possible begin named the evilest person on Halloween then you should buy real candy-or even gummy worms if you still wanna do the insect thing-legally.

I wouldn't worry about being sued. Because if it were me and you did that to my grand child. . . .well let's just say you'd have to dig your head out of your a**. That's not scary. It's just damn mean.
