P.W. BOTHA is dead. Who could believe that when he was torturing south african leaders and killing innocent civilians during aparthead, it wouldn't last. Well i can't say, i'm very very sorry he's dead coz he was one of the meanest white racist people on earth.

All things are impermanent, even though sometimes it seems as though change is impossible. I remember working against apartheid in the US back in the 70s and 80s. It sure seemed as though it would be impossible to change, even after the civil rights movement here was reletivelly successful. Though he did everything he could to uphold an evil system, I have to say I feel sorry for him. Someone with that much hatred and bigotry can't have had a happy life. Its all so sad; he will be remembered for his hatred and all the harm he caused. My response is to think about how I will be remembered-how do I conduct my life?

But he acted on his beliefs and stayed true to them.

Can you say the same.

I'm not sorry that he is dead either.
