I am 45 and as I have gotten older this has subsided but YES. I would get terrible pain during ovulation. Once my mother brought me to the hospital as she thought it was appendicitus.
I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage and yes, that could have something to do with it.

Many women get pain during ovulation. Personally, I can tell almost exactly to the time when my period will come based on the ovulation pain 14 days before it. However, if this sharp very painful stuff continues more than a day, it can be an ovarian cyst. Treatment for that is pain killers and more conservative docs will do a sonogram to make sure the cyst has gone down. However, you will know it has gone down yourself because all of a sudden that horrible pain will stop.

I did! I had particularly undesirable soreness. I reported wait a minute, I cramp whilst i'm ovulating, I cramp whilst i'm bleeding, so i'm cramping each 2 WEEKS! Ugh. I ran precise out and have been given a effective prescription for the pill. Now I have not any cramps in any respect, none all month.
