My brother is in bootcamp right now, about 2 weeks in.... anyway, I am doing all of his finances and I was told that he gets paid from the Army on the 15th and 30th of each month. I thought that the check would be automatically deposited, but I was recently told that they receive their check in bootcamp and then they have to money order the money to whom ever they are sending in. Which one is correct?

Don't plan on getting any money in his account right away. Yes he will have direct deposit. If he chose mid-month pay he will get paid on the 1st and the 15th. If he missed that part of the form he may only get paid on the 1st. Sometimes new soldiers are given a "credit card" of sorts, it is a $200 loan from their first paycheck to buy certain items not provided by the Army. The Army is not famous for getting the money going quickly so plan for the worst. The Army is very good at catching up and all the money owed will come in time.
Your bother is in the "shock" phase of basic training right now, you will hear from him soon, then more and more.

The majority showing up for boot camp are broke, the army knows this so first pay will be given directly to them in order to buy personal items etc.

My son is in the Marine Corps and I can only speak of our experience. During boot recruits do earn a paycheck but they will not receive their automatic deposits until after (or the week of) graduation. Its a lump sum (less deductions of military expenses of course -they do inccur expenses) of their earings during their time in basic training.

Your deliver date would not particularly have something to do along with your gender. deliver dates could do along with your mos and vacancies at BCT/AIT. There was once an convey deliver decision which you will are starting to be an advantage for whilst signing yet judging by utilising your question, i'm taking it that that decision isn't at the instant attainable using delays. as nicely to, I deliver 04 June 2012.
