Is being willing-to-sacrifice the power that wins the peace?

Not sacrificing our morals or lowering our standards as Hollywood wants us to do, in the name of freedom, but give up something that is dear to us, an expression of our freedom, that holds us in suffering to our attachments.

It seems that politicians want to enforce this on us but I say who are they to decide what we willingly need to give up.
