Do you perfer to be called by your first name or your nickname?

I like my nickname better, it sounds cuter, Don't you think?

I like my nickname because it suits me and is unique. The proper name is boring and people like to make up their own nickname to it and i don't like the common one they pick.

I'm with Brit. I've been called by my last name so much that now I respond to it mor than my first. The only rule about nicknames is you CANNOT choose your own - it MUST be given to you. By the way, I do like your nickname.

I legally changed my name from my first name to my nickname. I hated my name but loved my nickname and everyone called me by it anyway.

well it really depends on your nickname...and your real name. Ima dude and my name is Morgan (darn my parents...) but i guess I can handle it. I dont have a nickname so Morgan is ok. If i was a dude named Shelly and my nickname was mermaid than i would go with Shelly...HAHA The real question is: how did they come up with the word "nickname"???

I like being called by my first name. I hate my nickname, which comes from a Australian idol contestant.

I dont have a nickname really, some people have kind of made them up for me but it really ticks me off. I personally really love my name, and it annoys me that people might be too lazy to say my three syllable name.
