If you're athletic it's normal t miss periods other several months. Since your 14, your body is still adjusting so it's quite normal to have irregular periods.

Unless that "13" in your ID has any meaning, you don't give any clue to your age, but I just have a gut feeling that you are still a juvenile, which means you need to t alk to your mother, or whoever is responsible for you and say that you have to get this investigated. Many times, at the start of the Menses (traditionally around 13) things will be irregular. But I think something is going on that needs investigation.
By the way, you say you know you are not pregnant because of "what is needed for that" Just for your information, it IS possible to get pregnant without being actually penetrated. Some very heavy petting, and close body contact when the guy ejactulates, can absolutely send those sperms going up the canal to where Mother Nature meant them to go. Take it from me, the Medical Record Books are full of cases of pregnancies that happened that way. Just tossing that out there, in case. But you really should see a gynaecologist for a proper evaluation.

Hi! I'm 20 years old, and I haven't had regular periods... ever. I started when I was 12, and I'd only get a period maybe three times a year! I would get cramps, (of coarse you have to get the cramps with it..just my luck...) and every few months maybe I'd get it.

My doctor gave me a prescription to take that was suposed to make me regular, but it only worked that first month. It is normal though, you have nothing to worry about. Everyone is a little bit different, take it from someone who konws!

I say you need a second opinion. My doctor told me that once you reach a certain age your period should be regular. Once your menstrual cycle is established, any abnormalities should be checked. If you are uncomfortable with the diagnosis you got or think that more should have been done, go to a second doctor and explain your concerns. I've done that many times. If you display a knowledge of what you are talking about doctors pay more attention as well, so know basically what you expect before you go and what you are going to say. Good Luck

are you athletic? This happens a lot to overactive girls. I used to have extremely irregular periods. Sometimes none for a couple of months and then bam....two in a month. You are ok unless your doctor says otherwise. I would just go to the doctor again.

Depends on your age... if you're young (early to mid teens) I wouldn't be concerned. For the first several years, my periods were so irregular I sometimes went several months without one. Now I'm 30, and my periods come like clockwork. I guess it takes some time for your body to regulate itself.

Well, if you have just started getting your period within the last year, then that could be the reason why. At first, periods can be very irregular. If you have had it for awhile, then I would call your dr. again or see someone else.

Are you doing enormous amounts of exercise or are you taking a birthcontrol pill that warrants no periods. If your doc is not alarmed maybe you should not be or speak with another doc.

No that is not normal!!! I would get a second opinion. You need to go to an OBGYN. My daughter had that problem & she had small cysts in her ovaries. They were able to give her medication to help disolve them. God bless & really get a second opinion!!!
