Second of all why are you asking this question? and Third of all its basically the body's way of getting the uterus prepared for child birth it occurs monthly. For approximately 5-7 days (most women) the uterus contracts and expels a lining in the uterus but it is mostly blood this simply cleanses the uterine walls preparing it for child birth. 0 days. Despite what anybody else may tell you, you can get pregnant any time. I know way too many people who concieved the last day before the period should have started or the very first day right after the period, even in some cases when it was mostly over but not quite fully!
