Brief Reunion - yeah I thought it sounded like Green Day too - my BF didn't agree though.

I like Green Day as well whicih is probably why it appealed to me.

Ok!! Im a massive fan! they have 3 albums - I brought you my bullets you brought me your love , three cheers for sweet revenge and welcome to the black parade which was released on October 24th. The songs are as follows :

1. The End - fab and makes you eager to listen to the whole album

2. Dead! - one of my faves - very catchy tune and great lyrics

3.This is how i disappear - song about him never wanting to lose his lover - v.g.!

4.The sharpest lives - a song about him leaving his girl to go off to the war ( im guessing ) but another of my faves

5.Welcome to the Black Parade - a brilliant song - quite sad at the end but with a great beat ( the video is them playing a marching band - visit www.mychemicalromance.com to see it )

6.I dont love you - a song about his girlfriend leaving him - the 2nd saddest of the album :(

7.House of Wolves - Most up-beat of the album - great when you are in the right mood :)

8.Cancer - as you can probably tell this song is about him dying with cancer - i cried my eyes out when i first heard it - saddest song ive ever heard. but still gud!

9.Mama -My FAVOURITE!!! a song about him writing a letter to him mother telling her that we are all going to die. very punky! great lyrics

10.Sleep - a slow one with a chrous where you have to hold a long note and its one of those "pretend you can sing that good in front of a mirror " songs quite sad

11. Teenagers - a great song but a little bit ( little is an understatement) of swearing. just 1 swear in the scorus. i love it soo much - its about people being scared witless by teenagers on the street lol.

12.Disenchanted - great song - very inspired. could listen to it over and over and over...

13. Famous Last Words - Very good finish to the album - makes you want to listed to it again and you may be tempted to hit STOP but DONT!!!!!!!! let it play for a minute then on a little tune sould pop up called...

14. Blood! - a little cute song about (vampires im guessing) gerard way - lead singer and songwriter - always had a thing about them. i love it! :)

hope you liked the review..........................................................

You have been missing out! My Chemical Romance have released two albums before The Black Parade, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge and I brought You My Bullets and you brought me my love. Three Cheers, is an amazing album so if you like The Black Parade you will love this album. I brought you bullets, as it is a debut sound is a little ruff. The story behind the album is also dark, so if you like "light" music you may not enjoy this.

I love the songs "Skylines and Turnstiles" and "Give 'Em Hell, Kid". The rest of their music is for you to explore, and believe me you will enjoy it.

Well I don't know a great deal about them but they're 1st album was also hyped as being very good, with the singles 'Helena' and 'Im not okay (I promise), I like those tracks.

I think that it would be a worthy purchase although I do think that the black parade single is way to reminicent of Greenday's latest work.

My Chem Romance rock! They're a goth rock band from New Jersey USA. They've had 2 breakthru songs here - Helena and I'm not OK. Welcome to the black parade is their biggest and best song, i think. Their debut cd Welcome to the black parade is just out. I read an interview somewhere by the singer Gerard they're coming to the Uk soon. Hope this helps!

They have a couple of songs over at their Myspace page. They're streaming, but it's worth a listen. Also, check out some of their other videos at Youtube. I really like "I'm Not Okay" (it was the first song I heard by them) but some of their other stuff is good, too. Their videos, however, are extraordinary.

Out of your curiosity, does your name come from the Leonard Cohen song?

I love 'Helena' and 'I'm not okay (I promise)', but I'm not too keen on the rest of their music. It's great for whacking on in the morning to wake you up, or to sing along to when you're going out.

It's great. I love this band. My other favorite songs from them are "Helena", and "You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison".

the band is amazing. they're actually not new though. they've been around for a couple years. this is their third album, so that should tell you how long they've been around. ya, the new song is okay. their older stuff is better in my opinion. but you probably wouldn't like it if you like the new song. but the song is great! glad you like it!
