Does John Kerry think the U.S. troops are stupld ???

In a speech in Cal. he said " If you don't study hard you'll get stuck in Iraq".

Kerry added "If you don't GET SMART" you'll end up in Iraq . He thinks of everyone who isn't him , as stupid . Then he gets indignant when the peons catch him being himself and insulting our military -which is what John Kerry has made a career of doing . He must have got a little too tired last night in California-because he slipped and said what he really thinks . Then out of no-where -like a bad penny , he comes back with some insane rhetoric about blaming the White House and saying President Bush should apologize - when George Bush wasn't the one who said U.S. troops were uneducated & stupid . Kerry said it-then flip-flopped & tried to say Bush said it . It was Kerry . I'd know that lurch Frankenstein voice anywhere .

His wording was : "You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

Better get it right or every liberal on here will be bashing you for misquoting him.

Well i have to tell you I'm not into politics like my husband is but when I heard John Kerry on the news today i was so shocked that i had to listen to several news channels to listen again to make sure I heard what i thought I heard. I just don't understand how anyone could say that about the men and women that are dying and fighting for our freedom ...i mean just to keep us safe.....I pray for our troops everyday that one day they can come home to there families and we can have peace again.

I'd actually be AFRAID to have someone like him for president. He's talking out of somewhere and it isn't his mouth. Come on people, even if you DON'T agree with the war in Iraq, at least have a little respect for our troops and give them credit!!! Do you think they like hearing all this crap??? Don't have them believe they're over there for nothing! That's a disgrace.

I think he does , but who would throw any brains they had away to fight any presidents war, there is an alternative motive behind every war especially this invasion in iraq. OIL
When you join the army you get told when to eat, sleep uranite and shine your shoes. most of these people in the army got bullied in school, thats why they joined they might have a little intelligience but no bottle or cahunas to make it on their own in the real world. So they go and join an organisation that will train them to act tough and walk tough but they just weak. would any of them come to my hood on their own i don't think so. So if you dont study hard you might get stuck in Iraq, especially if your a little momas boy.

Thanks Nancy for that comment... I cannot, as well as many of my peers, stand to be looked down upon just because I am in the military... Why are we looked at as stupid because we are here??? Does being patriotic, or not even that, does wanting to protect our families from having any type of war come over here make us dumb??? Like previously said, even if you do not like war, and cannot stand us being in this situation, at least have the common decency to NOT put us down like that... We are over here protecting you guys, yet most are calling us names and putting us down...
